Jamie is responsible for discovering new business and investment opportunities and setting the strategic direction of the company.
Jamie has been in the renewable energy business since 2009. He has worked for Elemental performing a variety of roles since 2010 and worked at Chrysalix Energy Venture Capital before that. His first career was in the film business, where he was President and Co-Founder of The Collective Films, an award winning documentary and commercial film production company.
Jamie has a MBA from the University of British Columbia and a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Joe is the Chairman of Elemental and plays a role in evaluating investment opportunities, structuring deals, and working with partners.
Joe is the founder and former CEO of Intrawest Corporation – an international resort and real estate developer responsible for the success of Whistler Blackcomb as well as dozens of award-winning golf courses, villages and developments around the world. He is also founder and Chairman of Intracorp – an urban real estate developer with offices in Seattle, California, Vancouver and Toronto. His holdings include a variety of businesses in industries including real estate, resorts, construction, and aircraft supply and services.
Joe has a MBA from the University of British Columbia and a BCom from the University of Saskatchewan.
Director of Finance
Antoine is responsible for the financial analysis of investment opportunities, including valuations, financial viability and financing alternatives.
Antoine began his career as an auditor with KPMG focusing on forest products and pulp and paper. He later joined PwC focusing on the valuation of everything from private enterprises to timberlands. He then worked at two multi-billion dollar companies, where he assisted the companies in financing decisions including the issuance of a $1.0 billion high yield bond, amongst other things.
Antoine holds a BComm. with Honours from the University of British Columbia. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst
Director of Project Development
Dan is responsible for the strategy and execution of Elemental’s wind and solar development portfolio.
Dan has over a decade of experience in the renewable energy industry, including eight years in technical, managerial, and leadership roles with two of the world’s leading renewable energy consultancies. He has experience working on over 12GW of wind and solar projects, from greenfield development through to operations.
Dan holds a Bachelor’s of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and is a registered professional engineer. He also has an MBA from Simon Fraser University.
Ryan oversees the construction and management of the Box Canyon Hydro Project and evaluates other hydro project investment opportunities. Ryan is a professional engineer with 14 years of experience in renewable energy development with a focus on hydroelectric projects, including: design, optimization, permitting, tendering, contract negotiations, construction management.
Before joining Elemental Ryan worked on hydro projects at Veresen, Innergex Renewable Energy, and Sigma Engineering.
Ryan holds a B.A. Sc., Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
Hydro Operations Lead
Jake leads hydro project operations and planning, and supports on solar project operations.
Jake has two decades of experience in industrial electrical construction and operations, including a role as construction coordinator for Elemental’s 17 MW Brooks Solar Project. Before joining Elemental, he held Electrical Construction Coordinator roles for two major resource companies in Alberta in which he acted on behalf of the owner and was responsible for project design review, construction oversight, and commissioning.
Jake is a Red Seal Electrical Journeyman from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, and has his Masters in Electrical from Medicine Hat College.
Director of Project Investments
Graeme is responsible for the sourcing and analysis of new investment opportunities while managing the operation of projects within our portfolio.
Graeme has more than a decade of experience developing, financing, constructing, and operating renewable energy projects. He has worked in corporate development at a major natural resources firm and has supported a number of cleantech finance and impact investing organizations.
Graeme is a Chartered Professional Accountant who holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia and a BA in Environmental Studies from Carleton University.
Tania oversees the accounting, tax, administration and corporate compliance for Elemental, its subsidiaries and joint venture entities. Additionally, she assists the team with asset management and project financing activities.
Tania has been in the renewable energy sector since 2007. Prior to joining Elemental, she was responsible for the accounting and administration of GreenWing Energy. Tania also worked as internal and external auditor at Deloitte in Mexico.
Tania holds a Bachelor degree in Public Accounting with Honours from the University of La Salle Bajio in Mexico. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
Will is primarily responsible for supporting the advancement of Elemental’s solar and wind development portfolio. Registered as an Engineer-In-Training, Will has 4 years of experience in civil design, contract and construction management, and project delivery.
Will holds a B.A. Sc., Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
Brittany plays a lead role in Administration and Office Management.
She has a strong background in administration having worked in a number of roles involving general administrative duties, facilities management and scheduling.
Brittany has a Bachelor degree in Business from the University of Newcastle in Australia
