Jamie is responsible for discovering new business and investment opportunities and setting the strategic direction of the company.

Jamie has been in the renewable energy business since 2009. He has worked for Elemental performing a variety of roles since 2010 and worked at Chrysalix Energy Venture Capital before that. His first career was in the film business, where he was President and Co-Founder of The Collective Films, an award winning documentary and commercial film production company.

Jamie has a MBA from the University of British Columbia and a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Dan is responsible for the strategy and execution of Elemental’s wind and solar development portfolio.

Dan has over a decade of experience in the renewable energy industry, including eight years in technical, managerial, and leadership roles with two of the world’s leading renewable energy consultancies. He has experience working on over 12GW of wind and solar projects, from greenfield development through to operations.

Dan holds a Bachelor’s of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and is a registered professional engineer. He also has an MBA from Simon Fraser University.

Controller and Director of Corporate Operations

Tania oversees the accounting, tax, administration and corporate compliance for Elemental, its subsidiaries and joint venture entities. Additionally, she assists the team with asset management and project financing activities.

Tania has been in the renewable energy sector since 2007. Prior to joining Elemental, she was responsible for the accounting and administration of GreenWing Energy. Tania also worked as internal and external auditor at Deloitte in Mexico.

Tania holds a Bachelor degree in Public Accounting with Honours from the University of La Salle Bajio in Mexico. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Ryan oversees all of Elemental’s engineering and construction activities and supports project financing as well as evaluation of new investment opportunities. Ryan also leads Elemental’s energy storage initiatives.  Ryan is a professional engineer with over 20 years of experience in renewable energy development including: design, optimization, permitting, procurement, tendering, contract negotiations, and construction management.

Before joining Elemental, Ryan worked at several independent power producers and prior to that at a renewable energy engineer firm.

Ryan holds a B.A. Sc., Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia.

Troy is responsible for supporting the analysis and evaluation of potential business and investment opportunities.

He has worked since 2015 in business development, finance, valuations and natural resources which includes financial modelling, business valuation and forecasting.

Troy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UBC’s Sauder School of Business with a minor in Economics. He has been awarded the CFA and CPA designations.

Jake leads the management and oversight of our portfolio of operating projects.

Jake has two decades of experience in industrial electrical construction and operations, including a role as construction coordinator for Elemental’s 17 MW Brooks Solar Project. Before joining Elemental, he held Electrical Construction Coordinator roles for two major resource companies in Alberta in which he acted on behalf of the owner and was responsible for project design review, construction oversight, and commissioning.

Jake is a Red Seal Electrical Journeyman from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, and has his Masters in Electrical from Medicine Hat College.

Liam holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering from Queen’s University and is registered professional engineer.  He also holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia.

Maryam is responsible for supporting the advancement of Elemental’s wind and solar development portfolio. She has been involved in renewable energy and sustainable development projects since 2018, including roles in design, research, development, and project coordination. She is a registered engineer-in-training.

Maryam holds a B.A.Sc., Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia and a Certificate in Sustainability: Science, Technology and Business from the Technical University of Denmark.

Kari has worked as a Business Analyst for the Engineering department of the Department of National Defense, and spent 3 years with Scotiabank.

Kari is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria’s Peter B. Gustavson School of Business.

She is a costumer service oriented professional with over 5 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry. She spent 3 years as an Administrative Assistant and Office Manager in a commercial real estate company before joining Elemental.

Lou holds a Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Colima, Mexico and a second Bachelor degree in Marketing from Acsenda School of Management.

Daniel is registered as an Engineer-In-Training in Alberta, having previously worked as a project engineer in the midstream oil & gas industry.

Daniel holds a B.E.Sc.,Green Process Engineering from the University of Western Ontario.

Devon is responsible for site coordination of day-to-day construction activities on Elemental’s solar projects.  He works closely with our project management and onsite contractors during the construction phase to ensure standards, deadlines and budgets are met.

Devon previously worked as an Electrical Superintendent in the oil and gas sector.

Devon is a Red Seal Electrical Journeyman from Medicine Hat College and has a Land and Water Resources Diploma from Olds College.
