Chappice Lake Solar-Storage 

Project Overview

The Chappice Lake Solar-Storage project is located 35 km north of Medicine Hat in Cypress County, and is a partnership between Elemental and Cold Lake First Nations. It is the first utility scale solar + storage project in Alberta to use a flow battery. This innovative technology enables solar energy to be stored and delivered to electricity customers after the sun goes down.
